  • Mainly deals puncture (effective against armor) damage.
  • The blueprint can be acquired from the market. Additionally, it can be used as a requisite ingredient for the Boltace once it falls out of personal favor. One of the great things about the Boltor is that it delivers high damage that can punch through dead bodies and damage those behind it, making it effective against mobs that are clustered together. It fires bolt projectiles that have both travel time and projectile drift which can punch through dead bodies and damage enemies behind it. The Boltor is a Teeno assault rifle that primarily deals puncture damage. With it, you can pin the entire body of enemies to the wall and make the environment your trophy room. Having a life-sized trophy from a hunt is now possible with the Boltor. Or is it metres across the pond? Regardless, the difference is within the margin of error of the approximate range so interchange the two.It may look and feel like a syringe but these have enough force to penetrate armor and pin you to the wall. I am quite at home with both systems, if you prefer, 200 meters then. Currently, they teach us in school on the metric system almost exclusively and then the real world. As soon as football (american, not soccer), highway signs, tools, and everything else start using it I will be right with you on that. Which is why I occasionally mention it - it seems like the bulk of game devs have strange ideas about practical firepower. Still, its ironic that a LOT of our current tech is vastly superior to these futuristic weapons in multiple ways. After getting the blueprint, it will be displayed in the foundry. Some warframe blue prints can only be gotten from completing Quests (more details in 'Warframes' section). The blueprint that combines the parts can be bought off the market with credits. There were several images posted of real world items as sort of a joke. Most blueprints for non-prime warframe parts (Neuroptics, Chassis, and Systems) can be farmed. It's what people not embroiled in the savage past use!

yards? There's this thing called the metric system. You interject this thing into the topic that is completely outside the discussion, and the game entirely.

I am disturbed by your strange American obsession. Or you could get a contender/encore with a real rifle cartridge and probably go on out to 500 yards or more. There are some other ak & ar pistols as well, I just like that one. Only 200 yards or so effective range but for a pistol that is respectable, and it slots standard AR mags so 30 round standard cap mags and you can get them with approaching 100 cap before having to switch out for belt-fed. Its a fun alternative for mid level sniping, and it also helps against those bosses that require targeting weak spots as the blast hits those.Īnd for the real world stuff. Pretty sure it does more per shot than marelok, though marelok might pass it with an uberbuild and consistent headshots.

It does ok for me in the sniper role for starmap enemy. I don't slot multishot or use the alternate fire (empties mag in general direction of target) for it when it fills this role, just lob one at a time. Lex Prime will nail all 3 bullets practically behind each even at absolute long range, if that is what you prefer. Multishot tends to divert, but only at the longest of long shooting galleries which are few and far between in Warframe.īut then, it's sheer power also make this useful, since rarely do you need all 3 bullets to kill a Corpus crewman, so why not KO the buddy beside him too ? In general, Marelok offers better bang and more usable. I'd use other pistols when using something like my Boltor Prime, which isn't exactly snipery, but is close enough that I'll want more of a specialty weapon (like Angstrum, Stug or Tysis) for a secondary. A single target, well aimed alternative to general AoE havoc. Anyone care to offer advice on that?įor reference, the sniper pistol will most likely be paired with the Amprex, Quanta or Penta, if that would affect your decision. But it's hard for me to look at a number and decide what that means for accuracy. But a friend suggested Marelok, which does TONS more damage, has great status chance, but isn't quite as accurate. Even then, there's a big difference between sniping someone into shooting their allies, and just plain killing them :D Tysis doesn't exactly cut it, especially without more forma and rare mods. I'm pretty happy with my current spread for now, but I need a Sniper Pistol. Trying to round out my arsenal before getting down to just forma-ing the stuff.
